Genzyme Molecular Oncology is currently conducting a phase I/II
clinical trial for its ex vivo melanoma cancer vaccine. Melanoma
is the most serious form of skin cancer.
Reolysin shows
promise in malignant gliomas
Calgary, Alberta Oncolytics Biotech Inc. reported that Dr Peter
Forsyth and his research group with the Alberta Cancer Board and
the University of Calgary are publishing the results of their work
with Reolysin for the treatment of human malignant gliomas (brain
cancer) in animal models.

Biogen Inc. announced that Amevive (alefacept) achieved positive
and statistically significant results in two worldwide phase III
clinical trials in patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.
