Computer Solutions signs agreement with ITM Associates
Plans
to integrate ITM Associates PDF inFusion eReview into Prelude’s
Domino.Doc based DocuKnowledge suite
The
integration will benefit all DocuKnowledge users, specifically in
the Pharma and Life Sciences
Prelude
Computer Solutions, Inc., an innovator in turn-key document management
solutions for regulated industries, and ITM Associates, winner of
the 2001 Lotus Beacon award for ‘‘Best Industry Solution,’’
announced their new partnership agreement. The joint affiliation
will allow the integration of ITM’s PDF inFusion eReview into
Prelude’s DocuKnowledge Suite, providing complete web-based
review capability for document management and workflow applications.
The Prelude DocuKnowledge Suite is built on the Lotus/IBM Domino.Doc
Document Management platform. The DocuKnowledge Suite contains the
templates and validation documents that are required in a regulated
industry. The integration will benefit all DocuKnowledge users,
most specifically those within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences
Industries due to the time sensitive nature of these industries.
Using PDF inFusion eReview, users are able to review PDF documents
via a web browser or Lotus Notes. Throughout the review cycle, all
comments and annotations, typically called ‘‘margin notes,’’
are made as overlays and are stored separately, leaving the original
document unaltered. All prior drafts of the documents are maintained
in the secure document management system with full version control
and audit trail facilities, while maintaining compliance with FDA
Part 11 guidelines.
This method provides maximum flexibility because it allows our customers
to define their business requirements in an environment suitable
to their needs. This integration agreement is consistent with Prelude’s
charter to keep the document management user interface 100 per cent
web-enabled.
