Merge Technologies Incorporated has signed a world-wide contract with the Angiography and X-Ray division of Siemens Medical Solutions. Merge will supply ExamWorks+, one of Merge’s newest workflow connectivity solutions, to be used with Siemens’ suite of digital products for Angiography, Cardiology and X-Ray offerings to extend workflow interconnectivity with other medical and information technology devices.

‘‘Siemens is delighted to be working with Merge Technologies as a supplier of DICOM and IHE connectivity products. Siemens Angiography, Cardiology and X-Ray customers have been requesting us to expand workflow functionality in conjunction with the other outstanding features of our digital products. The interfacing of Merge’s ExamWorks+ solution gives our customers a seamless integration to optimise their work efficiencies,’’ said Klaus Hambuechen, president of AX division.
