AstraZenaca, Avestha Gengraine to develop tuberculosis drug
With an aim of discovering a new drug against tuberculosis (TB), the biotech company AstraZenaca has entered in a research based alliance with a bioinformatics company, Avestha Gengraine Technologies.

At an extraordinary general meeting (EGM), Aurobindo Pharma shareholders gave an okay for the company’s proposal for a private placement of Rs 125 crore equity share, according to the company statement.

Morepen Labs Q3 net up by 11.6%
Pharmaceutical major, Morepen Labs has reported a 11.6 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 24.66 crore for the third quarter ending Dec 31, as against Rs 22.1 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
