insulin sensitiser Ragaglitazar (DRF 2725) entered phase III clinical
trials over six months ago, ongoing carcinogenicity studies in rodents
revealing tumours have temporarily led to suspension of clinical
work by Novo Nordisk to whom it had out-licenced the molecule for
development.
