National policy needed to avert genetic divide: Prof Swaminathan
PARTICIPATING in the media workshop on Future of Biotechnology: Partnerships and Public Acceptance, organized at Chennai recently, Prof M S Swaminathan, chairman, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), warned that India will experience serious genetic divide, ‘‘If we do not have a well defined and forward looking national policy in the field of food and agricultural biotechnology.’’
