Chiron seeks Indian partners to develop HIV vaccine for subtype C
Chiron Vaccines, which discontinued development work on gp120 - a vaccine that was subsequently developed by VaxGen and was recently found to be ineffective in human trials to tackle the HIV virus - in 1994, has now readied second-generation vaccines for HIV subtypes B, C and E.
