The partying days for gatecrashers is soon coming to an end. After considerable dithering, it now appears that the government has given a serious thought on ‘data exclusivity’ and is deciding to provide a four year exclusivity to innovators submitting data on pharmacology, toxicity, pharmacokinetics and clinical studies of a new product.
