Sri Lankan IP Bill stalled
due to court case
While fears have been on the mount that the proposed Intellectual
Property Bill by Sri Lanka would expose the countrys resources
unconditionally to the exploitation of global companies, the suit
filed in the Sri Lankan Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality
of certain provisions in the code of Intellectual Property Bill,
has virtually stalled the passing of the bill.
Centre asked to review
