IPA moots accreditation body for chemists
The need for an accreditation body for chemists, similar to the National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (NABL), to ensure a religious implementation of good pharmacy and storage practices is gaining currency among experts in the profession.

Experts call for urgent adoption of WHO GSP guidelines
THE country has to make WHO’s Good Storage Practices (GSP) guidelines for pharmaceutical products mandatory without delay as the existing norms are vague and susceptible to wide interpretation far removed from the pharmacist and the consumer, according to FMCG icon Hindustan Lever Ltd’s research head Dr D B Anantha Narayana.
