‘Collaboration between Indian companies will pay rich dividends’
Dr K Anji Reddy, chairman, Dr Reddy’s Group of Hyderabad has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the pharma industry in Andhra Pradesh. Under his leadership, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories pioneered the production of some of the bulk drugs that were introduced for the first time in the country. Today, his company covers the entire pharmaceutical chain — basic research, finished dosages, generics, bulk actives, biotechnology and diagnostics. In an exclusive interview to Satyapal Menon, Dr Reddy draws from his expertise and immense experience to give insights into the status of the pharma industry in the country and on a wide ranging issues related to the industry.
