Pharma majors eye Chilean patients

LifeScan, the Medical division of Johnson & Johnson and Novo Nordisk, the world leader in diabetes care jointly announced the launch of the Diabetes Starter Pack at the first day of the Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India (APICON 2005) in Mumbai.

Public-private partnership crucial for biotech growth: Dr Bhan
Dr M K Bhan, secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, indicated that the government was seriously considering many options for making appropriate regulatory changes and also for funding the industry with the objective of promoting the biotechnology sector in the country.
