Galpha Labs to set up unit in Baddi
City-based Galpha Laboratories Ltd plans to set up a new unit at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh for manufacturing liquids, capsules, tablets and with separate cephalosporin injectables set up.

Strides, Stada conclude development and supply agreement for US
Strides Arcolab Limited, a leading Indian developer and manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and STADA Pharmaceuticals Inc, the US subsidiary of STADA Arzneimittel AG, announced signing of a development and supply agreement for a prescription generic drug product. The product will be developed and manufactured by Strides exclusively for STADA’s sale in the USA, said a press release.

Avesthagen appoints new business heads
Avestha Gengraine Technologies Pvt Ltd, India’s leading Biotechnology and Bioinformatics company announced that it has strengthened its senior management team by putting in place its key executives to oversee its three strategic business units, Avesthagen Research-RPOTM, Nutraceuticals-Avgen Inc and Agbiotech-AQUASTM.

Biocon says oral insulin may become ‘blockbuster’
