Ministry assigns NIPER to study TRIPs impact
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India has assigned National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) to conduct a systematic study of the various aspects of the TRIPs agreement, analyse its impact on the pharmaceutical prices in India and suggest remedial measures, informed a press release.

Former JU student donates money for pharmacy dept
Dilip Chakraborty, a former student of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Jadavpur University, has donated Rs 20 lakh to the department to set up a hall in memory of his late parents.
