Emcure launches Emtri suspension for HIV affected kids
Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of India’s leading and fast growing pharmaceutical company has launched Emtri Suspension — a paediatric combination of three drugs namely lamivudine, stavudine and nevirapine for children infected with HIV/AIDS.

Orchid enters into pact with US-based STADA Pharmaceuticals
The Chennai-based pharma major, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Orchid), has entered into an exclusive agreement with STADA Pharmaceuticals Inc, the US subsidiary of STADA Arzneimittel AG, for the development and supply of six prescription generic drug products to STADA for the US market.

Glenmark Farmaceutica Ltda (GFL), the wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited has purchased a leading hormonal brand, Uno-Ciclo from Instituto Biochimico Indústria Farmaceutica Ltda for USD 4.6 million.

Glaxo gets board approval to buy back 25 per cent shares
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GSK) said that it has decided to go for a share buyback program of up to 25 per cent of the total paid-up equity share capital and free reserves of the company.
