National seminar on green pharmacy to be held at Mandsaur

EPP News Bureau - Mumbai

the Rajasthan Ayurved University (RAU) is organising the country’s ‘First National Seminar cum Intellectual Property Fair’ on Green Pharmacy at Mandsaur on April 24-25.

The RAU is the second university of the country devoted to ayurveda and identifies ‘Green Pharmacy’ as a part of its hallmark.

Narrating about the concept of ‘Green Pharmacy’ the seminar advisor Dr V B Gupta said, ‘‘Green pharmacy is the conglomerate of holistic health sciences and modern pharmaceutical technology. The humanity is distracting from modern medicines (red pharmacy), because of its ill effects. Green pharmacy combines the holistic advantages of ancient times and Technology advantages of the modern time.’’

Seminar coordinator Prof S S Pancholi told that the event would primarily be divided in four technical sessions viz green business opportunities, green academics, green technology and green regulations.
