Transasia to launch new diagnostic kits by year-end
City-based Transasia Biomedicals, a leading manufacturer of testing and analysis equipment, plans to launch diagnostic kits for immunology by the end of this year. The diagnostic kits are developed its R&D centre. Suresh Vazirani, Chief Executive Officer, Transasia Biomedicals, told Express Pharma Pulse ‘‘Our R&D centre for instruments and reagents has focussed on developing indigenously ELISA products.

Ind-Swift receives DCGI approval for anti-diarrhoeal drug
Chandigarh-based Ind-Swift has received approval for its quinoline-derivative, anti-diarrhoeal plus antibacterial drug, from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). "The drug has successfully completed all stages of clinical trials and the company expects to launch it next month," informed V K Mehta, Managing Director, Ind-Swift, in an exclusive to Divya Nair.
