Botox gets DCGI nod

The
most talked about cosmetic treatment, Botox, which is associated with all the
rich and the famous is now approved in India. It is approved for hyperhidrosis
(excessive sweating), glabellar lines (frown lines) and hyperkinetic facial
lines (facial lines) by the Drug Controller General of India. Allergan is the
sole marketer of Botox in India.

to look better. It will be a pleasure to see the Indian market catching up with
the international markets like that of USA, where Botox is the most preferred
