Hot Foil Coder (Electro Pneumatic)

Process Instrumentation and Controls (PIC) has developed the Hot Foil Coder, which is the newest in a vast range of PIC's quality coding and batch-printing products.

Hot Foil coders are easy to use, high quality hot foil coding system for coding on various substrates, either table top manner or can be mounted on various packaging and labelling machines. It is used in print, coding, marking, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, price, weight and lot number on to flexible packaging materials including films, labels, cartons, laminates and pouches.

The compact design has been made to use existing technologies of PIC to provide sharp, clear, indelible and coloured images on the substrate. The hot foil printing process uses engraved or cast type metal characters, dyes, or silicone rubber types, which are heated and then stamped down through a coloured ribbon (known as foil) on to the substrate to produce coloured crisp, clean, sharp, dry prints. This hot foil printing technology of PIC is completely indigenous, user friendly and maintenance free.
