Ajanta Pharma ties-up with Prollenium

Ajanta Pharma has entered into an in-licensing agreement with Prollenium Medical Technologies of Canada and will have exclusive marketing rights for Prollenium's dermal filler-Revanesse, in India. Prollenium has a vast experience in the medical aesthetic industry and is involved in developing new generation products for the aesthetic market. Announcing the tie-up, Yogesh Agrawal, Executive Director, Ajanta Pharma, said, "The launch of Revanesse is of great significance for Ajanta, as we continue to build our strengths in the dermatology segment."

The total dermatology market in India is valued at approximately Rs 1,300 crore and lifestyle cosmeceutical products like 'dermal' fillers and anti-aging products are fast gaining in popularity. Ajanta Pharma, which is ranked by IMS-ORG as one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in India, has a well established portfolio in dermatology, cardiology, and ophthalmology. The launch of Revanesse will strengthen the company's portfolio in the aesthetic segment in India.
