Kovai to launch pre-programmed electronic reminding system
Kovai Pharma Machineries, manufacturers and exporters of pharmaceutical and
cosmetic machineries, will be launching 'P3', positioned as the first and only
pre-programmed electronic cosmetic package (patent pending) at the P-MEC India
2007 show in Mumbai.
The P3 is designed to insure compliance with the manufacturer's usage instructions
for time sensitive products such as hair dyes, facial masks, facial hair bleach,
hair removal creams and face peels for optimal results. The product operates
on microprocessor based pre-programmed timers for automatic initiation of timekeeping
system.
 P3
has automatically regulated reminders which indicate when the user has to reapply
the product, facilitating efficient product usage. The advantage of this timekeeping
device is that it enforces precise product usage resulting in best results.
The intelligent design allows technology to be retrofitted to existing molds
in order to enhance product performance of existing formulas.
The technology may be incorporated into various component types including jars,
tubes, and bottles. As this is a low cost disposable electronic system, it is
suitable for single use applications.
 How
it works
STEPI: The timing mechanism is activated when the
cap is opened.
STEP2: The consumer dispenses the product for application
and closes the cap, initiating a preprogrammed application time. When the application
time has elapsed, the internal timekeeper counts down for the product to set.
STEP3: The cap beeps and flashes when the setting
time has elapsed and the product is ready to be removed.
STEP4: After this application process has been completed,
the pre-programmed clock countdown to the time for the next recommended application,
whether that be the next day, a week or month later.
STEP5: When it is time for the next application, the
cap beeps and flashes to remind the consumer to re-apply the product.
