Windows CE-driven, full-colour touch screen bench meter

The new multi-parameter bench top meter operates with a touch screen and is Windows CE-driven. With full-colour touch screen, it also provides easy operations and setup with user-friendly icons, user prompts, and context specific "help" screens. Exten-sive setup screens enables customising the meter to isopotential point, temperature units, ion method, ISE electrode type, BOD/OUR/SOUR configuration, cell constant, temperature coefficient, TDS factor, alarm limits, and other functions. CyberScan PCD 6500 touch screen meter measures and displays up to four channels simultaneously. With up to ten measurement parameters to choose from, the meter features two channels of pH/mV/ISE inputs, along with one channel for pH (FET), one for dissolved oxygen/BOD/OUR/SOUR, as well as one channel for conductivity/resistivity/TDS/salinity input. Besides the advantages and versatility of having a research-grade pH, mV, ion, dissolved oxygen, and conductivity meter in one instrument, the CyberScan PCD 6500 offers up to 10,000 data set storage per user login and password security to protect data from accidental deletion. Its advanced USB, IRDA connectivity provides extensive host/device communications capabilities that allows to send data to any computer in the world via internet directly from the meter.

Melting Point Apparatus

OptiMelt-MPA100 provides a fast and accurate means of automatically determining the melting points and melting ranges of chemical substances. With micro-processor controlled tempe-rature ramping, a built-in digital camera, and a selling price that is half that of competing models. It has a built-in digital camera that continuously captures real-time images of the samples, and it uses digital image processing to determine the results. These melting points and melting ranges are prominently displayed on the front panel and automatically recorded into memory for later review. The Melt View windows software displays live, high-resolution images of each sample during analysis. The three screen-captured images will be collected during a typical melt. Stored images may be recalled at any time, and can be played back frame-by-frame or as a movie.

Thermal shock and environmental chambers

ProteoMiner protein enrichment kits

High-abundance proteins present in complex biological samples such as sera or plasma make the detection of medium and low abundance proteins extremely challenging. ProteoMiner protein enrichment technology is a novel sample preparation tool used to reduce the dynamic range of proteomes from complex biological samples, allowing the exploration of the entire proteome. This technology employs a large, highly diverse bead-based library of combinatorial peptide ligands, which simultaneously reduces high-abundance proteins and enriches low-abundance proteins. In this technology each bead features a different hexapeptide ligand with affinity for specific proteins in a sample. Samples are applied to the beads, allowing proteins to bind to their specific ligands. Proteins in excess are washed away, and those proteins bound to the beads are eventually eluted, allowing further downstream analysis. Some of the benefits of ProteoMiner protein enrichment kits are that it decreases the amount of high-abundance proteins without immunodepletion, prevents the co-depletion of proteins bound to high-abundance proteins, and enriches medium and low-abundance proteins that cannot be detected through traditional methods. It is also compatible with a variety of sample types, is independent of species specificity, is not dependent on a predefined set of antibodies unlike immunodepletion products, is compatible with all major downstream protein analysis techniques and can be used for differential expression analysis. It has a spin column format which is convenient, easy to use, as onetime use avoids potential for contamination between samples and all necessary columns and reagents provided in the kits.
