t3000 Laptop Ultrasound System

Trivitron makes life easy and comfortable for doctors and patients alike; to set new standards for imaging performance, ease of use, size, and cost. The system runs on a standard Apple Mackintosh laptop computer, which is integrated with Treason's Fusion Processor, a unique, custom-designed, integrated ultrasound chip set. The Windows graphical user interface makes the system intuitive and easy to use. The t3000 is designed for general, vascular, and breast imaging, interventional radiology, image-guided intervention, endocrinology, laparoscopic, neuro-sonography and nephrology. The significance of the system lies in its best-in-class image quality and function that are comparable to the high-end cart-based ultrasound systems. The flexible design allows the system to be instantly convertible from a normal Laptop to a cart-based ultrasound system. Doctors will not have to go through the cumbersome process of carrying a portable ultrasound machine and a laptop. The t3000 is ultrasound system powered by an off the shelf commercial PC. Weighing at eight pound, the t3000 can operate on batteries for more than two hours. The system also features modern scanner design with 15-inch TFT monitors with XGA image quality; electrocardiogram and DVR Capability; built-in hard drive and J2K board for efficient video clip recordings; imaging modes include 2-D, tissue harmonics, M mode, color doppler, spectral doppler (CW/PW), and power doppler.

ProteoMiner Protein Enrichment Kits

High-abundance proteins present in complex biological samples such as sera or plasma make the detection of medium and low-abundance proteins extremely challenging. ProteoMiner protein enrichment technology is a novel sample preparation tool used to reduce the dynamic range of proteomes from complex biological samples, allowing the exploration of the entire proteome. The technology employs a large, highly diverse bead-based library of combinatorial peptide ligands, which simultaneously reduces high-abundance proteins and enriches low-abundance proteins. In this technology each bead features a different hexapeptide ligand with affinity for specific proteins in a sample. Samples are applied to the beads, allowing proteins to bind to their specific ligands. Proteins in excess are washed away, and those proteins bound to the beads are eventually eluted, allowing further downstream analysis. Some of the benefits of ProteoMiner Protein Enrichment Kits are that it decreases the amount of high-abundance proteins without immunodepletion, prevents the co-depletion of proteins bound to high-abundance proteins, and enriches medium and low-abundance proteins that cannot be detected through traditional methods. It is also compatible with a variety of sample types, is independent of species specificity, is not dependent on a predefined set of antibodies unlike immunodepletion products, is compatible with all major downstream protein analysis techniques and can be used for differential expression analysis. It has a spin column format, which is convenient, easy to use, as one time use avoids potential for contamination between samples and all necessary columns and reagents provided in kits.
