French companies to exhibit at INDIA CHEM 2008
India Chem 2008, is due to have a sizable business delegation from France as
part of the French Pavilion by a collaborative effort of Ubifrance and the India
Trade Missions. According to Ubifrance, the European chemical industry has the
largest workforce as compared to any other industry in Europe within which,
after Germany, France provides employment to nearly 16 percent of the workers.
Equipment supply to the chemical industry represents a market of Euro 100 billion
worldwide, out of which French companies hold five percent.
French companies participating in India Chem 2008 include Alla France with more
than a century of experience in metrology, calibration and glass manufacturing
for industries including the chemical industry. COP manufactures silicone, polyurethane
and acrylic resins; EREA, which has solutions for ultra clean air protection
while Descote has a complete range of bellows sealed valves for hazardous applications
of the chemical and petrochemical industry. Manoir supplies tubes, fittings,
complete coils for steam cracking and catalyst tubes for steam reforming furnaces.
ProSim is a simulation software provider, with an innovative technical and commercial
approach. Some of ProSim's solutions are already references for specific industries
and for some areas of simulation like hermodynamics, CAPE-OPEN, software components,
batch simulation. SEAT Ventilation offers a complete range of polypropylene
laboratory exhaust fans and a brand new line of airflow monitors and controls
for fume cupboards. Various sectors using SEAT products include laboratories,
chemical industry, electronics, hospitals, college, universities, electroplating
